For the transportation of live seafood products, refrigerated trucks are usually equipped with drainage tanks and oxygenation equipment to adjust the temperature inside the truck to a suitable range for transporting seafood products. For seafood products that need to be deeply frozen, the temperature should be lowered and transportation should be arranged properly. During refrigerated storage and transportation, the surface of seafood products is prone to drying. If a little ice is added to the refrigerated truck, it can not only prevent drying, but also extend the shelf life, usually for about a month.
