During the driving process, it is inevitable that the vehicle may collide due to an incident, resulting in damage to the refrigerated compartment. The editor of the refrigeration unit will talk about the common damage and repair methods of the refrigerated compartment.

(1) Three common types of damage to refrigerated carriages
1. Damage caused by external forces.
2. Damage caused by temperature effects..
3. Damage caused by inability to maintain regularly
(2) Repair measures for three common losses of refrigerated carriages.
1. Repair of scratches and cracks on the inner and outer skin of the refrigerated compartment
Scratches and cracks on the outer skin of the refrigerated compartment directly affect the appearance of the compartment, while deep scratches and cracks on the inner skin of the refrigerated compartment may affect the insulation performance of the insulated compartment. The repair method is to first polish the scratches and cracks into a rough surface, then evenly apply the mixed atomic ash on top, and after the atomic ash dries completely, polish it to a smooth surface and spray paint.
2. Repair of damaged insulation layer of refrigerated compartment
Due to impact or other reasons, the insulation layer may be damaged, which is highly likely to cause the refrigeration compartment to lose its insulation performance. The repair method is mostly to cut off the damaged part of the insulation layer in a small area and make polyurethane insulation material and fiberglass plate of the same size. The insulation material is covered with fiberglass felt and coated with unsaturated polyester adhesive. The inner and outer fiberglass plates are attached and placed in the cut holes of the box panel. It is fixed with the whole box panel with external force. After about 1 to 2 hours of adhesive curing, it is polished and painted.
3. Small area peeling and repair of the inner and outer skin of the refrigerated compartment
Small area peeling of the inner and outer skin of the box body, commonly known as bubbling, is caused by a small amount of gas between the skin and insulation layer that cannot be discharged in a timely manner during the production process of the box board, resulting in incomplete bonding between the skin and insulation layer. This phenomenon can easily cause the entire skin to peel off, and in severe cases, it can affect the insulation effect. The repair method is often to drill an 8mm small hole in the middle of the peeling part of the box board, inject unsaturated polyester glue into it with a glue gun, press it tightly with external force, and spray paint after the glue is fully cured.
The manufacturer of refrigeration units reminds everyone that if the refrigerated compartment is damaged, professional personnel should handle it to avoid danger.
