Refrigerated containers, also known as mobile cold storage warehouses, are a type of cold storage that primarily uses mechanical refrigeration to cool the container. Besides requiring high reliability in refrigeration, these warehouses also demand high strength, airtightness, and thermal performance from their refrigeration units.
Refrigerated containers are specifically designed for transporting frozen or low-temperature goods that require maintaining specific temperatures. They are divided into internally mounted mechanical refrigerated containers with built-in refrigeration units and externally mounted mechanical refrigerated containers without refrigeration units. They are suitable for loading goods such as meat and fruit. Refrigerated containers have higher construction and operating costs; careful attention should be paid to the technical condition of the refrigeration unit and the required temperature of the goods inside the container during use.
