Although autumn has begun, the weather is still hot. Let me review with you the precautions for using refrigeration units in summer.

1、 The cabin needs to be pre cooled
Before loading, the refrigerated compartment should be pre cooled to dissipate the heat inside the compartment and better ensure the quality of the goods.
The temperature of the pre cooled compartment should be consistent with the temperature of the goods.
2、 Manually defrost the cabin during pre cooling
If the required temperature of the goods is below 4 ℃, a manual defrosting process is required during the pre cooling of the carriage to remove the frost accumulated on the evaporator coil, improve the cooling effect, and accelerate the pre cooling speed.
3、 Confirm the temperature of the goods before loading
The transport refrigeration unit can only maintain the temperature of the goods. If its limited cooling capacity is used to cool the goods, it is not only difficult to achieve, but also consumes a lot of fuel.
4、 Correct packaging of goods
The packaging requirements for fresh and frozen goods are different, and the packaging for fresh goods should ensure ventilation.
Plastic packaging cannot be used when transporting fresh goods as it hinders the air circulation of the goods. Paper boxes that can ensure air circulation should be used.
5、 Separate shipment of different goods
Goods of different types and temperature requirements cannot be transported in the same compartment. The refrigerated compartment should be divided into independent small compartments and placed separately. Do not mix frozen goods and dry goods in the same compartment.
6、 Closed platform loading
Goods should be quickly loaded onto closed platforms to avoid contact with the external environment, which may cause the cold chain to break.
7、 Leave enough cold air channels
When loading, it is necessary to ensure that there is sufficient clearance between the goods and the inner wall of the cold box to ensure smooth circulation of cold air, so that the cold air can wrap around every corner of the goods and prevent local temperature rise and deterioration of the goods.
8、 Frozen goods are controlled by return air temperature
When transporting frozen goods, the temperature control method can use return air temperature control. This is the default temperature control method for the refrigeration unit.
9、 Fresh goods are controlled by air supply temperature
When transporting fresh goods, the temperature control method should use air supply temperature control to avoid freezing damage to the goods.
10、 Manually defrost again after loading
After loading is completed, close the door and turn on the machine, and manually defrost it every half an hour. This can remove the frost on the evaporator caused by the humid and hot air entering during loading, allowing the evaporator to exert its full capacity and ensure the security of the goods.
11、 Stop the refrigeration unit and open the door again
Before opening the door, the crew needs to shut down. If the refrigeration unit is not turned off, a large amount of external humid and hot air will be sucked in, causing a temperature rise in the cabin and frost formation on the coils, making it difficult to cool later and wasting fuel.
12、 Clean the interior of the cabin and the refrigeration unit
Prevent contamination of goods or blockage of the evaporator of the refrigeration unit, ensure refrigeration efficiency, and ensure the security of goods.
