The air outlet of the refrigeration unit is generally located at the top front section of the cargo compartment. Without ventilation slots:

1. If the goods contain water and cannot be drained, the goods at the bottom of the compartment will rot.

2. When the cargo is full, the cool air from the refrigeration unit may only blow on the goods, causing the bottom of the refrigerated container to slowly heat up. With ventilation slots, the cool air will blow towards the rear door of the compartment, and then downwards, circulating through the ventilation slots.

3. If the cargo contains a lot of heat, which is difficult to evaporate, ventilation slots can remove a lot of heat. It's also beneficial to place ice cubes in the center to further absorb heat, resulting in better effectiveness.
