China's refrigeration units have entered a stage of explosive growth, and the industry is developing rapidly, but the structure is not very reasonable. The phenomenon of overcapacity in domestic cold chain logistics parks has begun to emerge, and many refrigerated truck resources are idle. Further large-scale construction will inevitably exacerbate overcapacity and market competition.
The construction boom of cold chain logistics parks urgently needs to be cooled down, and investment and construction should tend towards rationality. The government should introduce corresponding policies to provide useful and reasonable guidance, and the industry should change its mindset of emphasizing construction over operation.

From the perspective of our country, in terms of the types of cold storage units, refrigerated warehouses account for over 50%, while ultra-low temperature refrigerated warehouses account for less than 1%. In addition, in the category of stored goods, the proportion of fruit and vegetable products exceeds 30%, while the proportion of aquatic products and meat and poultry products needs to be improved.

However, domestic cold chain logistics started late and developed rapidly, and still faces bottlenecks in various aspects of software and hardware in the construction and operation of parks.
On the one hand, the rise of the construction boom of domestic cold chain logistics parks is mainly stimulated and promoted by the introduction of policies, while the corresponding hardware facilities have not developed synchronously, becoming the main limiting factor for the construction and operation of logistics parks.
The construction of cold chain logistics parks aims to gather multiple resources, improve the efficiency of cold chain logistics, and reduce costs. The lack of basic hardware infrastructure will inevitably affect the improvement of efficiency, making the cold chain logistics park tangible but not practical.
On the other hand, domestic cold chain logistics parks still need to improve their soft power. To achieve the intensive operation of the entire cold chain logistics process, the main focus is on the effective integration of resources and systematic and scientific control, further constraining costs and controlling processes. In the actual operation of the system control box, cold chain logistics practitioners also play a significant role.
