1. Common injuries

The inner and outer skin of the container of Chongqing refrigerated trucks are mostly made of fiberglass, and the middle layer is basically made of polyurethane insulation material. Therefore, common damages in China include:

(1) Scratches and cracks on the skin inside the container.

(2) Small area peeling of the skin inside the container.

(3) Insulation.

2. Maintenance measures

1) Repair of Scratches and Cracks on the Skin inside the Container Body

Scratches and cracks on the outer skin directly affect the appearance of the cabin, while deep scratches and cracks on the inner skin of the cabin may affect the insulation performance of the temperature box.

The repair method often adopts the polishing and painting treatment method, which first grinds scratches and cracks into a rough surface, and then evenly applies the mixed atomic ash on it. After the atomic ash dries completely, it is polished flat and then painted.

2) Repair of Small Area Peel off of Container Body Skin

Small area peeling of the inner and outer skin, commonly known as bubbling, is caused by a small amount of air between the skin and insulation layer during the production process of the box board, which can be discharged in a timely manner, resulting in incomplete bonding between the skin and insulation layer.

This phenomenon can easily cause the entire skin to peel off, seriously affecting the effect. The maintenance method often adopts the glue injection method. Drill a small hole in the middle of the peeling area of the box board, inject unsaturated polymer into it with a glue gun, press it tightly with external force, and after the glue is fully cured, polish and spray paint.

3) Repair of damaged insulation layer on the trunk

Due to impact or other reasons, the insulation layer is damaged, which is a significant damage to the refrigerated container body and is highly likely to cause the refrigerated truck to lose its insulation performance. Most of its maintenance methods use the block compensation method.

Cut off the damaged part of the insulation layer in a small area, and make polyurethane insulation material and fiberglass sheet of the same size. Cover the insulation material with fiberglass felt and apply unsaturated polyester glue. Place the inner and outer fiberglass sheets in the cut cavity of the box board, and fix them together with the whole box board with external force, about 1-2 small tons. After the polyester glue solidifies, polish and spray paint.
