Many problems with refrigerated trucks in Chongqing are caused by improper use. There are actually several techniques for using refrigerated trucks effectively.
1. Pay attention to fan speed settings: During normal operation, to prevent excessive frost buildup on the evaporator and affecting the refrigeration system, the airflow speed and temperature control should not be set to low levels simultaneously for extended periods. However, when the vehicle speed is below 25 km/h, the fan speed should be set to a low setting to avoid insufficient power generation and cooling.
2. Expel hot air before opening the refrigerated truck: The refrigeration system is most efficient when the windows are closed. However, if the truck has been parked in direct sunlight for a long time and the interior is very hot, open the windows after opening the refrigeration system and allow the hot air to escape before closing them. This will significantly speed up the cooling process.
3. Use recirculation to improve refrigeration system efficiency: While prolonged use of the recirculation function is not recommended, it is essential for achieving fast and effective cooling. Another function of the internal air circulation system is to prevent unclean air from entering. When driving on dusty roads, internal circulation can prevent dust from entering the vehicle.
4. Choose the air vent direction carefully. When cooling a refrigerated truck, the airflow should ideally be directed upwards, as cold air sinks. The airflow setting should be set to face-blow mode. Adjusting the air vents upwards is more effective; avoid setting them to blow directly onto the windshield, as the high temperature of the windshield will negate a significant portion of the cooling effect.
